14 weeks old police dog adorably surprised everyone by his performance in his training!
A police dog, often referred to in North America as a “K-9”, is a dog that is specifically trained to assist police and other law-enforcement personnel in their work, such as searching for drugs and explosives, searching for lost people, looking for crime scene evidence, and protecting their handlers.
Today, police forces in most major cities use police dogs to track criminals, sniff out illegal materials, search buildings, and do other jobs human police officers can’t do as well as a dog can. Not only are there thousands of police dogs on the job on any given day, but there are also hundreds of police dogs who have given their lives to protect and serve.
The most commonly used breed is the German Shepherd because of their natural super protective instinct, high sense of loyalty to their handler.
In this video, we meet the K9, who was just 14 weeks old named Ace; it took an intensive training with the help of trainer CHP officer Paul Budrow.
The furry police officer is taking his training seriously; his trainer put him in a challenge of bringing down a criminal training scenario, he leaps out of the car and run after a criminal.
I couldn’t help but let out a loud laugh! When the car’s door opened I couldn’t imagine that I would see the small furry officer was the one who would run after the criminal. I was totally surprised!
How he catches the criminal was really adorable! Even the tough grip he has got on the bad guy’s sleeve is cute maybe because he is adorably tiny.
I never thought that a dog attack could be so adorable! Anyways hats off for this cute police officer, he really deserves the praise!
Ace currently works as a PSD with the Simi Valley Police department.
