Jian has been described as caring, animal lover and kind woman through the years she has worked at the center. She has always been trying to choose the best for the dogs by trying to persuade people of adopting instead of buying the dogs. Finding a home to the dogs with her goal. However, the hard part of her job is that she had been forced to euthanize 700 dogs in just two years.
She said that the animal shelter capacity is limited and many people did not understand that and they were struggling with increasing numbers of animals being abandoned. The Xinwu center’s capacity 500 dogs and 100 cats at most.
Elisa Allen, Associate Director of PETA stated the fact that there are simply not enough homes for the poor animals who are euthanized every year.
