On Saturday afternoon, Butch was attacked by McBeth during a deer hunt in Sharps Road in Richmond County. But he is now recovering from his severe wounds. Brooks explained that another member of his hunt club has confronted McBeth when he saw the deep wound on Butch’s side then he him with a machete.

Brooks explained that the attacker slashed Butch because he was protecting the livestock on his land. He didn’t want the dog on his property.
