We’ve heard of burglars who kill dogs, torture dogs, but this one is the first to color a dog purple.
It’s a terrible thing, but one has to say, it’s definitely a first!
In a very weird incident, Felix Reagan has been accused of breaking into a house in Massachusetts to steal some items and paint a dog purple.
According to Oak Bluff Police Department, the man entered the Martha’s Vineyard property through a ground level window, he then proceeded to paint the victim’s dog with purple paint!
Officers responded to a report of a crashed stolen vehicle with the suspect feeling from the scene on foot. About 5 minutes later, officers were dispatched to a residence after a report of a break-in.
The police stated:
” Items were reported stolen and the victim’s dog had been painted with purple paint,”
After the police captured him, they found stolen prescription bills, driver’s license and credit cards. The items were stolen from the victim of the break-in. The police also found the purple paint on his pants t be consistent with the paint found on the dog.
The man has been charged with breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony, larceny of a motor vehicle, cruelty to animals and other related crimes.
Well, we hope that he gets sentences appropriate to his crimes, but I can’t seem to stop wondering: Why would he do all of this? Why paint the dog? and why purple ?!
